The Oklahoma Single Parent Scholarship supports students who are Pell-Grant eligible and custodial parents of at least one child under 18 in a single-parent household. Students who are seeking an undergraduate degree at a non-profit institution in designated counties in Oklahoma are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Custodial parent of at least one child under the age of 18 (single-parent house without assistance from a "significant other")
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Resident of Oklahoma
  • Completed at least one semester at a nonprofit college or university in Cleveland, Grady, Logan, Payne, or Oklahoma counties, Oklahoma
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student **or** as a part-time student in nursing, anesthesia technology, emergency medical science, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapy assistant, respiratory care therapist, speech-language pathology assistant
  • Demonstrate financial need (Pell Granteligible)
