Requirements
  • This program is open to students of color who are graduating from high schools in Minnesota and planning to enroll full-time at a postsecondary school in the state.
  • Applicants must submit a 500word essay that deals with why they believe education is important, their plans for the future, and the service-to-children project they would like to complete in the coming school year.
  • NonU.S. citizens are encouraged to apply.
  • Selection is based on the essay, 3 letters of recommendation, and financial need.
