The FADONA/LTC Scholarship is available to currently licensed R.N.s, L.P.N.s, or certified nursing assistants (C.N.A.s) in Florida who are enrolled in an accredited Florida nursing program or registered for a nationally accredited LTC-based certification program and employed by the same facility or employer as the nominator. Students planning to pursue advanced training or a bachelor's or graduate degree are welcome to apply.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, bachelor's, or graduate degree
  • Studying nursing, gerontology, nurse practitionerrelated fields or healthcare management
  • Planning to attend school in Florida
  • R.N. student currently accepted or enrolled in a baccalaureate or master's degree program in nursing, gerontology program, undergraduate or graduate program in health care management, or nurse practitioner program L.P.N.student currently accepted or enrolled in an R.N. program or undergraduate health care management program
  • C.N.A.student presently accepted or enrolled in an R.N. or L.P.N. program
  • A minimum of 2years of employment in the long-term care field
  • Current director and assistant director of nursing are required to be a member of FADONA/LTC; NADONALTC or sponsored by a member of FADONA/LTC; NADONA-LTC
