Phil-Mont Mobile Radio Club Scholarship provides funding to licensed radio amateurs who reside in eastern Pennsylvania or southern New Jersey and are interested in working on a bachelor's or graduate degree at a school in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to licensed radio amateurs who intend to work full-time on a bachelor's or graduate degree at a college or university in any state.
  • There is no restriction on the course of study or license class.
  • Applicants must reside in eastern Pennsylvania or southern New Jersey section of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).
  • They must submit essays on their motivation to become a ham and interests in the hobby; ham radio activities and accomplishments; ham radio contacts and operating modes; interests and hobbies outside of ham radio; ham radio club memberships; ham radio club participation (offices held, appointed positions); and any special issues that affect their application and that they would like the sponsor to take into consideration.
