The Pratt & Whitney Training Scholarship Program offers financial assistance to members of the Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM) who are nearing completion of the aviation maintenance technician course. Students who intend to pursue a career as an A&P mechanic and are enrolled at the Pratt & Whitney Customer Training Center in East Hartford, Connecticut are encouraged to apply.

  • Seeking a professional certification
  • Studying aviation maintenance
  • Attending the Pratt & Whitney Customer Training Center in East Hartford, Connecticut
  • Planning to pursue a career as an Airfram & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic
  • U.S. citizen Students who have previously received a Pratt & Whitney scholarship or who are government officials are not eligible to apply.
