Public Land Survey System Foundation (PLSS) Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) who are working on an undergraduate degree in surveying that includes the Public Land Survey System (PLSS).

Requirements
  • This program is open to NSPS members who are enrolled full time at a 2- or 4-year college or university and majoring in an ABET-accredited program in land surveying.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a program that includes the PLSS as a class or a subject within a class.
  • Selection is based on that statement (30%), academic record (30%), letters of recommendation (20%), and professional activities (20%); if 2 or more applicants are judged equal based on those criteria, financial need may be considered.
