The Ralph William Bole Memorial Scholarship is for juniors and seniors enrolled at The College of Wooster. Applicants should be pursuing studies in one of the natural sciences or in mathematics. The scholarship was established in 2010 by Bonnie M. (Bole) Orkow, PhD, a graduate of the class of 1967, in memory of her father, Ralph William Bole.

  • Resident of one of the following Pennsylvania counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washinton, or Westmoreland
  • Pursuing a degree or studies in one of the natural sciences (biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, chemical physics, geology, neuroscience, or physics) or mathematics (mathematics does not include computer science)
  • Demonstrate financial need
