RMEL Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who wish to study selected fields in college in order to prepare for a career in the electric energy industry.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and college undergraduates.
  • Applicants must be working on or planning to work on 1) an electric industry craft certificate or associate degree; or 2) a baccalaureate degree.
  • Their field of study must be engineering; business; information systems; plant, line, or distribution technology; line worker; or other program related to a career in the electric energy industry.
  • Selection is based on goals and aspirations in the electric energy industry, motivation to succeed, service to the community and school, and academic performance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
