San Francisco Chapter WTS Transportation YOU High School Scholarship provides financial assistance to female high school seniors in the San Francisco Bay area who are interested in majoring in a field of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) at a college in any state as preparation for a career in transportation.

Requirements
  • This program is open to women who are graduating from high schools in the San Francisco Bay area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma).
  • Applicants must be planning to major in a field of STEM and be considering a career in transportation.
  • They must submit a 500word statement about their goals to study a field of STEM and why they think they should receive the scholarship award.
  • Selection is based on transportation goals, transportation related activities or job skills, and academic record.
