The Sid Maddox Memorial Nursing Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors or graduates from the Battle Creek area in Michigan who are planning to study or are studying for a nursing degree. Students who demonstrate merit through a desire to become a nurse, potential for success, the appropriate temperament as a nurse, compassionate in nature, and academic achievement are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to community college sophomores in the nursing program at Kellogg Community College. Secondary preference is given to any students in the nursing program at Kellogg Community College. Overall preference is given to candidates who are interested in returning to the Battle Creek, Michigan community to live and work.

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Graduating high school senior or graduate from the Battle Creek area in Michigan

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in nursing

U.S. citizen, permanent resident, conditional permanent resident, refugee, or asylum granted
