South/Central Texas CMAA Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and undergraduates in the south or central Texas interested in preparing for a career in construction management.

Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) seniors graduating from high schools in the south or central Texas and planning to enroll at a college or university in any state, and 2) residents of any state who have completed at least 1 full academic year of undergraduate study at a college or university in the south or central Texas and have at least 1 full academic year remaining prior to graduation.
  • Applicants must be working on or planning to work on an undergraduate degree in construction management or a related field (e.g., engineering, architecture).
  • They must be able to demonstrate a serious interest in a career in construction management.
  • Selection is based on that essay (20%), academic performance (40%), extracurricular activities (20%), recommendation of a faculty adviser (15%), and (for high school seniors) membership in the Construction Careers Academy or Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Program (5%) or (for undergraduates) membership in a student chapter of the Construction Management Association of America (5%).
