Texas 4-H Technical Scholarship provides financial assistance to 4-H members in Texas who plan to work on a technical certificate in selected fields at an institution in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating seniors at high schools in Texas who have been actively participating in 4-H during the current year and at least 2 of the 3 previous years and plan to attend an institution in the state to work on a technical certificate in an approved major.

Applicants must have passed all standardized tests necessary for graduation and admittance to the college or technical school of their choice.

They may not have plans to continue formal education at a Texas college or university after completion of their technical program.

Selection is based on 4H experience and narratives (73%), GPA (5%), financial need (12%), and a personal interview (10%).

U.S. citizenship is required.
