The Southwest Airlines Scholarship is open to students who are interested in preparing for a career in the airline industry. Students who identify as a minority, first-generation college students, or are eligible for a federal Pell grant receive special consideration.

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in a field related to the airline industry

Aged 24 or younger

Participate in extracurricular activities

Interest in a career in the airline industry

Exhibit academic achievement and leadership qualities

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who identify as a minority, firstgeneration college students, or are eligible for a federal Pell grant.
