The Tom Gifford Scholarship program is available to graduating seniors or graduates from Spring Lake High School in Michigan. Applicants should be aged 24 or younger. Students attending Amherst College or another top 10 U.S. News and World Report-ranked school are welcome to apply. Students who demonstrate financial need receive secial consideration.

Requirements
  • Graduating high school senior or graduate
  • Attended Spring Lake High School, Michigan at least 3 semesters prior to graduation, unless serving in U.S. military
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree at Amherst College or another top 10 U.S. News and World Report ranked school within 30 months of high school graduation, the time is waived for those serving in the U.S. military
  • Aged 24 or younger Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need.
