The UNCF Ladders of Hope Scholarship is available to African American college freshman students who wish to pursue a degree at one of the 37 UNCF member institutions. Students who are residents of South Los Angeles or surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need.
