  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Texas who have competed in a University Interscholastic League (UIL) state debate (cross-examination and Lincoln-Douglas) or speech (prose interpretation, poetry interpretation, informative speaking, and persuasive speaking) contest.
  • Applicants must be planning to attend a college or university in the state and major in a communicationrelated field.
