Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Vermont.
  • Applicants must be planning to enroll at a college or university in any state to work fulltime on a degree in the social sciences, including (but not limited to) anthropology, archaeology, criminology, economics, geography, history, international relations, philosophy, political science, psychology, social work, sociology, or urban studies.
  • Selection is based on that essay, financial need, academic achievement, and a letter of recommendation.
  • Preference is given to students who demonstrate and promote dependability, community service, leadership, religious awareness, and patriotism.
