Virginia State Council VVA Educational Assistance Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) or Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America (AVVA) in Virginia and their children and grandchildren who are entering or attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Virginia who are members of VVA and/or AVVA, the children of members, the grandchildren of members, or children under the legal guardianship of a member.
  • Applicants must be attending or entering an accredited, approved, or licensed college, university, or vocational/trade school in any state.
  • They or (for children or grandchildren) their sponsor must have completed at least 10 hours of volunteer service that has benefited the Virginia State Council of VVA. Selection is based on a random drawing from among all qualified applicants.
