WAI Spirit of Columbus Chapter Jerrie Mock Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of Women in Aviation International (WAI), especially those from designated counties in Ohio, who are interested in advancing their aviation or aerospace career.

Requirements

This program is open to WAI members who are at least 17 years of age and interested in 1) flight, ground, or simulator training for an FAA certificate or rating; or 2) education at an accredited school or college in any aviation vocation area, including dispatch, engineering, maintenance, or management.

Female aviation professionals and enthusiasts interested in advancing their training or career are also eligible.

Preference is given to residents of Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Licking, Logan, Madison, Pickaway, and Union counties in Ohio, but all applicants are considered.

U.S. citizenship is required.
