WEASC and SCAWWA Legacy of Learning Scholarship provide financial assistance to residents of South Carolina who have ties to the Water Environment Association of South Carolina (WEASC) or the South Carolina Section of the American Water Works Association (SCAWWA) and are interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in a water- or environment-related field at a college or university in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of South Carolina who are enrolled or entering a technical college or 4-year college or university in the state.
  • Applicants must be interested in working on an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in a field related to water and/or the environment, including engineering, maintenance, or management.
  • They must be members of the WEASC or SCAWWA, have a relative who is a member, or be sponsored by a member.
  • Graduate students must also submit a 500word statement describing their research project or program.
