West Virginia Garden Club Life Membership Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of West Virginia working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in a field related to gardening at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • GPA 3.25 or higher.
  • This program is open to residents of West Virginia enrolled fulltime as college juniors, seniors, or graduate students at colleges and universities in any state.
  • Applicants must be working on a degree in agriculture education, agronomy, biology, botany, city planning, conservation, environmental concerns, floriculture, forestry, habitat or forest systems ecology, horticulture, land management, landscape design, plant pathology, or a related field.
  • Selection is based on that letter (25%), academic record (40%), a list of honors, extracurricular activities, work experience (13%), financial need (15%), recommendations (5%), and conformance with instructions (2%).
