West Virginia National Guard Educational Encouragement Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the National Guard in West Virginia who are interested in attending college or graduate school in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to active members of the West Virginia National Guard who are residents of West Virginia and interested in attending a public or private college in the state.

Applicants must have maintained satisfactory participation in the Guard.

They must be interested in working on a vocational, associate, bachelor's, or master's degree.

In some instances, support may also be available to Guard members who are interested in working on an M.D., D.O., P.A., or J.D. degree.
