Requirements
  • This program is open to students currently enrolled in an automotive technology program at a public community college or technical institute in Washington.
  • Applicants must visit the service department of an automobile dealership in the state and include a report on their visit with their application.
  • They must also submit a brief essay on why they want to be an automotive technician.
  • Selection is based on the essay (50%), their report on their dealership visit (25%), and a letter of recommendation from an instructor or adviser (25%).
