ACEC New York Scholarship provides financial assistance to upper-division students in specified fields of engineering at colleges and universities in New York.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students who have completed their junior year (or the fourth year of a 5-year program) at an approved college or university in New York.
  • Applicants must intend to become a consulting engineer and must be majoring in an engineering field that makes up the primary practices of member firms of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York): chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, mechanical, structural engineering; surveying; or engineering technology.
  • They must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who intend to make New York their home and/or career area.
  • Selection is based on that essay (30%), work experience (25%), college activities and recommendations (15%), and cumulative GPA (30%).
