The AD Osherman Scholarship is available to Texas students graduating from high school or currently enrolled as college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors. First-generation college students with a history of community service planning to attend school in Texas are welcome to apply. Minority applicants and veterans (especially those who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan) receive special consideration.

Minimum 3.0 GPA for students seeking an associate degree, minimum 3.5 GPA for students seeking a bachelor's degree

Resident of Texas

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree at a public college or university in Texas as a fulltime student

Participate in community service

Demonstrate financial need

Firstgeneration college student Preference is given to minority applicants and veterans (especially those who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan).
