AFCEA NOVA STEM Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of the Greater Washington, D.C. area who are interested in attending college in any state to work on an undergraduate or graduate degree in fields of STEM.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of the greater Washington, D.C. area who are enrolled or planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must be interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in designated fields of STEM (e.g., information technology, computer science and systems, engineering, mathematics, natural and physical sciences, and other technology fields supportive of national security).
  • Selection is based on merit, although past or current military or government service may also be considered.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
