Requirements
  • This program is open to U.S. citizens who are enrolled in the ROTC detachment at an accredited college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • They must be enrolled as sophomores or juniors and working on a degree in biometrics, computer forensics science, computer programming, computer science, cyber security, engineering (computer, electrical, electronics, network, robotics, telecommunications), geospatial science, information technology, information resources management, mathematics, network security, operations research, physics, robotics, statistics, or strategic intelligence.
  • Majors related to medicine, nursing, political science, psychology, and other fields of engineering (e.g., aerospace, chemical, civil, mechanical) are not eligible.
  • Their application must be endorsed by the professor of aviation science at their institution.
  • Selection is based on demonstrated dedication, superior performance, potential to serve as an officer in the armed forces, and financial need.
