AFCEA War Veterans Scholarship provides financial assistance to veterans and military personnel who served in designated Overseas Contingency Operations and are working on an undergraduate degree in fields related to the support of U.S. intelligence enterprises.

Requirements
  • This program is open to active-duty and honorably discharged U.S. military members (including Reservists and National Guard personnel) who served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, Operation Inherent Resolve, or Operation Freedom's Sentinel.
  • Applicants must be enrolled as full or part-time sophomores or juniors at a 4-year institution in the United States and working on an undergraduate degree in biometrics, computer forensics science, computer programming, computer science, cyber security, engineering (computer, electrical, electronics, network, robotics, telecommunications), geospatial science, information technology, information resources management, mathematics, network security, operations research, physics, robotics, statistics, or strategic intelligence at a school in any state.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on merit.
