The Agnes M. Lindsay Scholarship Program is available to residents of Massachusetts who live in rural areas. Students who have not previously earned a bachelor's degree and attend a public institution within Massachusetts are welcome to apply. Students are nominated through their institutions.

  • Nomination only
  • Resident of a Massachusetts "rural" area
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Attending an eligible institution in Massachusetts as a fulltime student
  • U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident
  • Not have received a prior bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
  • Not be in default of any federal or state Student Loans for attendance at any institution or owe a refund for any previous financial aid received
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress in accordance with institutional and federal standards
  • Be in compliance with Selective Service Registration
  • Demonstrate financial need
