Requirements

This program is open to undergraduates enrolled at a 4-year college or university at least as sophomores.

Applicants must have completed at least 12semester credits of geology/geoscience courses and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for those courses and 2.8 or higher overall.

They must be student members of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG).

Each recipient must agree to prepare an article of 600 to 800 words for publication in <I1>The Professional Geologist.<I2>
