The Alexander Christian Foundation of Indiana Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Christian Church or Church of Christ (Independent) in Indiana who are preparing for a church-related vocation at designated Christian schools.

Requirements

This program is open to members of the Christian Church or Church of Christ (Independent) in Indiana. They are candidates for a church-related vocation or currently working full-time on an appropriate undergraduate or graduate degree.

Applicants must attend or plan to attend a designated college or seminary affiliated with the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Undergraduates must submit an essay of 500 to 1,000 words on why they desire to serve Christ in a churchrelated vocation; graduate students must submit an essay on a theme of their choice in their desire for graduate study.

Selection is based on that essay, evaluations of the applicant's character and motivation by their home church minister and an elder of their church, and transcripts.
