Alice Yuriko Endo Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to student members of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) who are working on an undergraduate degree, particularly in public or social service.

Requirements

This program is open to JACL members who are currently enrolled at a college, university, trade school, business college, or other institution of higher learning.

Applicants must submit information on their involvement in JACL and a 2page essay on a topic that changes annually but relates to Japanese Americans.

Selection is based on that essay, academic history, JACL involvement, school activities, work history, scholastic honors, and community involvement.

Preference is given to students with an interest in public or social service and/or residing in the Eastern District Council area.
