Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors who have a documented learning disability and plan to attend a 2-year community college, vocational/technical training program or specialized program for students with learning disabilities.

Applicants must 1) articulate their challenges and recognize the need for selfadvocacy; 2) be committed to postsecondary academic study or career training and have begun to set realistic career goals; 3) participate in school and community activities; 4) have demonstrated perseverance and commitment to achieving personal goals, and 5) be able to demonstrate financial need.

U.S. citizenship is required.
