This program is open to full-time students of mathematics at colleges with a faculty member who belongs to AMATYC. The faculty member at each college may nominate 1 student for this scholarship.

Nominees must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection of the recipient is based on a random drawing at the fall board meeting of the AMATYC Executive Board.
