Requirements

This program is open to residents of Kentucky who have been members of both the American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA) and the Kentucky Quarter Horse Youth Association (KyQHYA) for at least 2 years, of which 1 year must be their last year of eligibility as a youth.

Applicants must be enrolled as sophomores at am accredited college or university in and seeking funding for their junior and senior years.

They must be able to demonstrate a record of active participation in KyQHYA and promotion of its programs.

All fields of study are eligible.

Selection is based on academic achievement, Quarter Horse involvement, and financial need.
