The Amy Bennett Memorial Music Theatre Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who participate in the Arizona Thespian Festival and plan to major or minor in musical theater at a college.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors at high schools in Arizona who are involved in their thespian troupe.

Applicants must attend the Arizona Thespian Festival and present an audition of 2 vocal selections of 1 minute each or a 2minute vocal selection and a 2-minute acting selection.

They must intend to major or minor in musical theater at a college or university.

Selection is based on talent (30%), a resume (20%), thespian and troupe involvement (20%), academics, including a GPA of 3.0 or higher and ACT and/or SAT scores (20%), and a personal interview (10%).

The fee for use of the online application system is $40.
