Requirements

This program is open to students with a documented disability who have applied to or have already been admitted to, a college or university nursing program on a full-time basis.

Preference is given to graduate students who have demonstrated a commitment to working with people with disabilities.

Applicants must submit an essay on how they plan to contribute to the nursing profession and how their disability will influence their practice as a nurse.

Selection is based on the essay, transcripts of high school and/or college courses completed, activities and honors received, 3 letters of recommendation, and financial need.
