The Arizona Thespians Audition Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who participate in the Arizona Thespian Festival and plan to major in theater at a college.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors at high schools in Arizona who are involved in their thespian troupe.

Applicants must attend the Arizona Thespian Festival and audition with 2 acting selections of 1 minute each.

They must intend to major in theater at a college or university in any state.

Selection is based on talent (30%), a resume (20%), thespian and troupe involvement (20%), academics, including a GPA of 3.0 or higher and ACT and/or SAT scores (20%), and a personal interview (10%).

The fee for use of the online application system is $40. Application fee waivers are available for applicants that qualify
