Requirements
  • This program is open to Arkansas residents who are high school seniors, college undergraduates, or graduate students attending or planning to attend a college or university in the state and paying in-state tuition.
  • Applicants must be interested in preparing for a career in the field of natural resource conservation; approved majors include agriculture, aquaculture, biology (nonmedical), botany, civil engineering (emphasis sanitary/environmental, structural, or hydraulic), conservation management, criminal justice, environmental management and regulatory science, fisheries, forestry, recreation and park administration (emphasis natural resources), science education, wildlife biology, and zoology.
  • They must be fulltime students and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
