The Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Scholarship recognizes and rewards, with college scholarships, high school student-athlete seniors in Arkansas who have excelled athletically and demonstrate academic and athletic excellence.

Requirements

This program is open to 5 female and 5 male seniors graduating from high schools in Arkansas who have excelled in sports.

Nominations must be submitted by coaches, who provide a personal assessment of the student and supportive information for consideration.

Nominees must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a record of participation in school activities and extracurricular activities outside of school.

They must be planning to play football in college but not on a full scholarship.

Selection is based on merit and financial need. Only the first 100 essays submitted will be considered for review.
