Associated Oregon Loggers Member Scholarship for Colleges of Forestry provides financial assistance to high school seniors and current college students from Oregon who are children or grandchildren of members of Associated Oregon Loggers (AOL) and planning to major in a forest resource production field of study at a college of forestry in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and current undergraduates who are children or grandchildren of AOL regular members.

Applicants must be planning to attend or attend a 4year college or university in any state accredited by the Society of American Foresters to major in a forest resource production field of study, including forest management, forest engineering, or forest products.

Selection is based on academic record; SAT or ACT scores; legibility, neatness, and accuracy of information submitted; relevant experiences; and thought process, grammatical usage, and expression in the required essay.

Financial need is not considered.

Finalists may be interviewed.
