The Audria M. Edwards Scholarship provides financial assistance to LGBTQIA+ students or the children of LGBTQIA+ persons who reside in Oregon or southwest Washington and are interested in attending college.

Requirements

This program is open to 1) persons who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBTQIA+); or 2) the children of LGBTQIA+ parents.

Applicants must have been residents of Oregon or the Washington counties of Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, or Wahkiakum for at least 1 year.

They may be high school seniors, high school graduates, or currentlyenrolled undergraduate students at a college or university.

Selection is based on clarity of career and educational goals, potential to succeed in an educational program, experience as a volunteer or serviceoriented leader, commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community, and capacity for overcoming difficult circumstances and making the most of personal assets.
