Requirements

This program is open to residents of Iowa and students attending school in that state who are U.S. citizens or otherwise legally allowed to work in the United States.

Applicants must be working or planning to work full or parttime on 1) a 1-year diploma in a welding-related field; 2) a 2-year associate degree in welding; or 3) a bachelor's or higher degree in welding engineering or a related field.

They must be able to demonstrate financial need.
