Basic Midwifery Student Scholarship provides financial assistance for midwifery education to student members of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM).

Requirements

This program is open to ACNM members who are currently enrolled in an accredited basic midwife education program and have successfully completed 1 academic or clinical semester/quarter or clinical module.

Applicants must submit a 150word essay on their 5-year midwifery career plans; a 250-word essay on their intended future participation in the local, regional, and/or national activities of the ACNM; a 150-word essay on their need for financial assistance; and a 100-word statement on how they would use the funds if they receive the scholarship.

Selection is based on academic excellence, leadership potential, and financial need.
