The BBB Ethical Athlete Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school students in Arizona who have participated in athletics and demonstrated outstanding awareness of ethical concerns.

Requirements

Coaches, teachers, teammates, relatives, and friends of high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors at high schools in Arizona may nominate students for these awards. High school athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 or higher.

Nominees must have participated in sports sanctioned by the AIA. Nominations must demonstrate how the studentathlete overcame a challenging ethical dilemma and highlight the student-athlete's ethical agenda and willingness to do the right thing, even in difficult situations.

Ethical Athletes are chosen after the closing of each period on the basis of the information in the nomination.

Ethical Champions are chosen at the end of the year as the most outstanding Ethical Athletes.
