BEA Founders Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are interested in preparing for a career in broadcasting, especially current or former community college students.

Requirements

This program is open to students who are preparing for a career in broadcasting.

Preference is given to applicants who are either 1) enrolled fulltime at a community college, or 2) graduates of a community college currently enrolled full-time at a 4-year college or university.

Their current or former community college must be an institutional member of the Broadcast Education Association.

Selection is based on evidence that the applicant possesses high integrity, superior academic ability, the potential to be an outstanding electronic media professional, and a sense of personal and professional responsibility.
