The Birdie Hanson Nursing Scholarship is available to female collegiate or alumna members of the Omicron Pi chapter. If no members of the Omicron Pi chapter apply, then any AOII chapters in Michigan that are pursuing nursing degrees may be taken into consideration. If no members from the state of Michigan apply, it's open to any AOII chapter. Students seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students enrolled in nursing programs or those with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, leadership, or work

Proven academic achievement Preference is given to students enrolled in nursing programs or those with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
