The Black Winemakers Scholarship is available to African American students currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in the field of viticulture. Current juniors, seniors, or graduate students attending any 4-year or graduate college or university are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students attending Florida A&M University, Tuskegee University, Prairie View University, an Kentucky State University.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.20 GPA
  • Residing in the U.S.
  • College junior, senior, graduate, or doctoral student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree in enology or viticulture **OR**
  • Studying for a graduate degree in agriculture and environmental chemistry, chemical engineering, ecology, food science, integrative genetics & genomics, horticulture & agronomy, microbiology, plant pathology, soils & biogeochemistry, or viticulture
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Black or African American Preference is given to students attending Florida A&M University, Tuskegee University, Prairie View University, and Kentucky State University.
