Requirements

This program is open to enrolled members of federally-recognized tribes or Alaska Native corporations.

Applicants must be attending or accepted for attendance as fulltime students at an accredited college or university in any state.

They must be working on a bachelor's degree in agriculture, agribusiness, agricultural education, agricultural engineering, animal science, environmental management, horticulture, natural resource management, range management, soil science, veterinary medicine, or a related field.

Selection is based on that essay, programs of study, educational and personal goals, and leadership ability.
