Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in San Diego County, California, and planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must have demonstrated their ability to overcome personal obstacles associated with drugs or alcohol, a strong commitment to athletics, and a desire to continue their personal growth and development through higher education.

There is no minimum GPA requirement.

Selection is based on a commitment to setting and reaching life goals, athletic ability and participation in organized sports, leadership ability and personal responsibility, academic growth, and financial need.
